• This would initially be a three month agreement

Pride Dublin 2016 is almost here and to help you make the most of this very special celebration we've put together a list of the best events happening around the city 22nd - 26th June. Pride Run

Dublin pride will kick off with a healthy 5km run in Phoenix Park on the 17th June. This year the race organisers are hoping to raise funds for the LGBT helpline. Unfortunately places on this year's run have already sold out - but head along to cheer on hundreds of participants as they walk, jog, skip or leap-jump their way to the endline. Good vibes guaranteed!

This Is Us! Pride Opening Party

On Wednesday 22nd June The George presents 'This Is Us!' a story of pride and protest, of exclusion and belonging, of hope and determination. The 90 minute illustrated talk promises to be a compelling event and an historical reminder of people’s courageous display of integrity, bravery and realness to change our world. Starting at 6.30pm - Don't miss this!

The Pride Parade

The infamously fun Dublin LGBTQ parade is happening on Saturday 25th June. The parade is gathering from 12noon and at 1pm it will begin to wind its way through the streets of Dublin ending at Merrion Square. Anyone is welcome to join in the parade, the event organisers just say "Dress up, make banners, make noise, rebel against mediocrity, be amazing!" 

Pride Village

The Pride Village will return to Merrion Square this year on Saturday 25th June and the day long festival promises to be bigger and more vibrant than ever before with endless entertainment and special guests to keep spirits high throughout the day. Panti Bliss and Phil T Gorgeous will be hosting the main stage whilst Hunt & Gather will be presenting the Rebel In Love stage starting with a costume, dance and acro workshop at 12noon and finishing with FREE HUGS at 6pm!

Mother: Pride Block Party

If you're still looking for mischief after the parade and pride village, there are a number of venues hosting official after parties on 25th June including The George and Panti Bar- but our top pick has to be the Mother outdoor pride party in association with Smirnoff. This street party will be MASSIVE with multiple bars, food stalls, Smirnoff cocktails and a new monster main stage.  An amazing musical line-up will light up the stage with DJ sets from Jake Shears, Little Boots and Panti Bliss to name a few.
